Kim Ewalt teaches students how to create increased bonds of trust and confidence for both horse and rider. Kim has over 20 years’ experience teaching riders at every level with her unique combination of clarity, kindness and generosity of spirit.
She began training professionally at the age of 16 and has been employed as both hand and trainer at ranches across the mid-western U.S.
Kim has studied with some of the greatest horseman past and present. She continues to attend clinics and is a dedicated student of the horse.
TRAINING
Kim began training professionally at the age of 16. Her work with horses includes colt starting, correction of problem horses, and the training of the hackamore and bridle horse.
CLINIC SCHEDULE
Kim teaches clinics in natural horsemanship, horsemanship with obstacles, the fundamentals of effective groundwork and working with ‘problem’ areas.
LESSONS / TEACHING
Kim has the innate ability to discern how horses think and helps her students understand how the horse sees its world. She teaches people to search for the “feel” in a horse.
